Joining “North Carolina’s Band of Distinction!”

For woodwind and brass:

1. 1) Download an Intent Form (available in January each year)
   

2. 2)Supply the requested information and return the form to the Director of the Marching Mountaineers.
   

3. 3)Intent Forms should be submitted no later than June 30.
   

4. 4)Register for MUS 1100-101.
   

For percussion, colorguard & majorettes:

1. 1) Download an Intent Form (available in January each year)
   

2. 2)Supply the requested information and return the form to the Director of the Marching Mountaineers.
   

3. 3)Intent Forms should be submitted no later than April 1.
   

4. 4)Download audition information and materials (available in January each year)
   

5. 5)Attend auditions in April.
   

6. 6)Register for MUS 1100-101.

Membership is open to any Appalachian State University student with prior band experience.  Instructions for joining are provided below.
