Biography/Resume Dr. Harold McKinney (D.A. and M.M. University of Northern Colorodo) is Professor of Music at Appalachian State University, where he teaches trombone, low brass, philosophy of music, and summer institute in expressive arts. Harold is a member of the Appalachian Expresive Arts Collective and frequently performs as a soloist, chamber ensemble member, and big band trombonist. He is a former member of the Tactical Air Command Band and the Taiwan Symphony Orchestra. Dr. McKinney is also a certified level II Creative Motion Instructor.
