The check-in process begins here. After you have completed the final registration and fee-paying process, you will be given detailed information on how to complete the following items:
1) Checking out a locker ($5)
2) Getting your ID/Meal card made
3) Moving in to the Living Learning Center
Campers who arrived by plane register at 9:00 A.M.; all others starting at 9:30. The balance of your camp fees will be required, payable only by cash or check, written to CANNON MUSIC CAMP.
THEORY PLACEMENT TESTING: All campers assemble in Rosen Concert Hall at 6:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, for instructions on and administration of the Theory Placement Test. This test is only to assess your present knowledge of music theory, so that we may determine which level of theory instruction will benefit you the most.
AUDITIONS: On Sunday, June 27, starting at 12:30 P.M. all campers will audition on their primary instrument or on voice for placement into the camp ensembles. Be prepared to perform a solo or etude, major scales, and sight-read a short example. (More detailed information is available on your enclosed “Ensembles and Auditions” flyer.) Ensemble personnel listings will be posted outside the office (Room 108) late that afternoon.
PRIVATE
INSTRUCTION ON A SECONDARY INSTRUMENT OR VOICE: The fee is
$55
for four one-half hour lessons, and $110 for four one-hour
lessons.
All secondary lessons are subject to the availability of the camp
faculty.
Meet in the studio with the instructor at 8:45 A.M., Monday, June 28 to
schedule secondary lessons. Take the signed permission slip and
correct
fees to the camp office (Room 113) on Tuesday, June 29 between 1:00 and
4:00 P.M.
