HAYES SCHOOL OF MUSIC
STUDENT CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN STRING TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION

Faculty Advisor: Dr. Nancy Bargerstock

All string majors at the Hayes School of Music are welcome and encouraged to join the student chapter of ASTA at our university.   Membership involves monthly meetings, opportunities in student outreach projects in the local string community, planning and involvement in campus string projects, and trips to state and national conventions.  

Guest speakers are featured at the monthly meetings on topics that inform and directly relate to students' future employment and experience.   Learn more about ASTA.
